Prof. Suchethan Rangaswamy was born on 18th June 1979 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He began learning Carnatic Vocal music at the age of four. With a lot of dedicated efforts of his father G.Rangaswamy and Initial training under his mother Suma Rangaswamy he was initiated to the field of music. He then trained under various gurus Like Dr. Sarvamangala Shankar, M.S.Vidya and Dr. P.Ramaa for a period of almost eight years. His skills were further sharpened under Padmabhushana Dr. R.K.Srikantan and Kalaimamani P.Unnikrishnan. Constant training under them led to innovations and blending of tradition and modernity in Suchethan’s singing and he continues to learn from P.Unnikrishnan.

Prof. Suchethan Rangaswamy is also trained to play the Veena by T.Sharada and GanakalaBhushana Dr.Suma Sudhinda.

Prof. Suchethan Rangaswamy is an accomplished popular anchor and actor. Many TV serials and stage shows have featured him in various occasions. 

He is known for his natural acting skills in popular serials like Muktha Muktha, Chitralekha, putta Gowri maduve, anuragasangama and presently in Nagini.

Prof. Suchethan is a sort after music teacher and a Voice trainer for both singing and speech and has many successful students in the contemporary music and visual field. He is a professor in music and pursuing his PhD in voice culturing (” voice culture , the lesser known secrets) 

He is official mentor for the reality show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” on ZEE Kannada.

He has performed with excellence and has enthralled the music loving audiences in Bangalore as well as in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Kerala and other places all over India. He has toured many countries abroad.

Different Styles of Singing:
Though he was trained in the Carnatic classical style of singing Suchethan by his own efforts has mastered the technique adept in different styles. He has been ably balancing both traditional and creative music. Western classical, Jazz, music for classical dance form, light music, filmy and Hindustani classical music also have favorably influenced him.
